CEO
Daniel Howell is the CEO and Founder of GravityLab, a B Corp consultancy that works with nonprofits and social impact organisations across Australia and New Zealand. With deep experience in technology strategy and CRM transformation, Daniel advises boards and leadership teams on how to build the right technology foundations for long-term impact. He sits on the boards of World Vision and Live for Tomorrow Charitable Trust, bringing the same lens he applies with clients: clear thinking about where technology fits, and honest advice about where it doesn't. His work spans some of the region's most recognised charities and commercial brands, with a particular focus on decisions that carry real strategic weight.
Getting a board to approve a CRM investment trips up many organisations. Not because it's hard. Because most approaches misread the audience and get them what they need. This session is about understanding your board and the process they need to feel confident. We'll build a customer journey map specifically for the board, mapping what directors already know, where the pain points are, what they're feeling but not saying, and what moves them from skeptical to signed off. We'll also hear directly from board members who've been on the other side of these presentations, what made them say yes, what nearly made them say no, and what they wish they'd been shown earlier. If you're a CIO, CEO, CRM Manager, Architect, or vendor preparing a technology investment case, this session gives you a framework and understanding that works.
